The quickest way: just type “Salty Dayz Narbonne” into Google Maps.
From the motorway (exit 37) it is less than 15 minutes: after the toll booth, turn left at the first two roundabouts, then go straight through all the rest and left again at the last one. After about a kilometre, turn right towards “Camping les Floralys” and follow the road for around four kilometres — our sign stands at the start of the tree-lined drive.
From the A9: ~15 minComing by EV? There is no charging at the house itself — but the Tesla Supercharger Narbonne Sud is less than five kilometres away on the Route de Perpignan: 20 bays, up to 250 kW, around the clock, open to all brands with a CCS plug. The nearest charger is the Driveco station on Rue Ernest Cognacq, right by the Carrefour and just two kilometres from us: two Type 2 connectors at 22 kW, around the clock — ideal for topping up while you shop. And if you like to combine things, Château Capitoul has charge points too, best paired with lunch at the Asado.
By TGV
Narbonne station sits right on the TGV line: from Paris you are here in four and a half hours without changing trains — the same journey by car takes over seven. Connections from all over Europe run conveniently via Paris.
From Narbonne station it is about 15–20 minutes to us by taxi.
By plane
Six airports are within reach — the best choice depends on where you fly from:
Toulouse (TLS) has the most connections and is 90 minutes away. Béziers (BZR) is the closest. Also worth checking: Montpellier (MPL), Perpignan (PGF), Carcassonne (CCF) and Girona (GRO).

One distinction worth knowing in France: a taxi has a meter and may wait at the station — that is the one for spontaneous trips. A VTC must be booked in advance, but the price is agreed beforehand. So for an airport transfer, booking ahead usually pays off; for the way back from dinner, take the taxi.
Arrival
Check-in is from 4 pm — your local host welcomes you and hands over the keys.
Our tip: plan on a car — or bicycles. Plenty is close by, just not quite within walking distance: by car you are at the beach in Gruissan, at Les Halles or in the vineyards in a quarter of an hour — and for cyclists, the path along the Canal de la Robine starts practically at the door.
And in style?
The Canal de la Robine runs practically past the garden and connects to the Canal du Midi. Arriving by houseboat? Genuinely conceivable here — and definitely the story that gets told longest back home.
